Dr. Bruce Mitchell
DMD
Dr. Mitchell is a compassionate family dentist providing comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including children, adults, seniors, and individuals with special needs. He offers a wide range of services such as root canals, extractions, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, crowns, and more—helping patients achieve healthier smiles with comfortable, personalized treatment.
Dedicated to ongoing education and clinical excellence, Dr. Mitchell is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Southern Oregon Dental Society. He previously served the Southern Oregon Dental Society as both President and Board Member for four years. Dr. Mitchell is also a CEREC trainer, traveling throughout the region to teach dentists and their teams how to successfully implement same-day crown technology in their practices.
A native Oregonian, Dr. Mitchell was born in Lebanon and raised in Bend. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Oregon State University in 1995 and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors from Oregon Health & Science University in 2000. While at OHSU, he was honored to serve as class president for two years and student body president during his final year. After relocating to Southern Oregon in 2000, Dr. Mitchell took over the practice of Dr. Laurence Ware and has proudly served the community ever since.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Mitchell and his wife, Ryanne, enjoy raising their five children—Jackson, Cormac, Anna, Gatlin, and Lucy. As a family, they love traveling and spending time outdoors. In his free time, Dr. Mitchell enjoys boating, water sports, camping, coaching football, playing league baseball, and cycling.
