Dr. Mitchell is a family dentist and provides services to adults, children, the elderly, and special needs patients. He offers root canals, extractions, implants, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, crowns, and much more. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Southern Oregon Dental Society, where he served as president and as a board member for four years. Dr Mitchell is also a Cerec (our in office, same day crown machine) Trainer. He travels around the region, teaching doctors and their staff the ins and outs of the technology.

Dr. Mitchell is a native Oregonian, born in Lebanon and raised in Bend. In 1995, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Oregon State University (OSU) in Corvallis and his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, where he graduated with honors in 2000. While at OHSU, Dr. Mitchell was class president for two years and student body president during his final year. Upon moving to beautiful Southern Oregon in 2000, Dr. Mitchell took over the practice of Dr. Laurence Ware.

Dr. Mitchell married Ryanne in December, 2012, and together they have five children: Jackson, 13, Cormac, 12, Anna, 11, Gatlin, 9, and Lucy, 7. They all enjoy spending time together traveling. In his spare time, Dr. Mitchell enjoys boating, water sports, camping, coaching football, playing league baseball, and cycling.
